Worked on Ericsson’s Routers R8801, as an architect in the role of product owner for NHK routers in PAAS Team. As an Agile Scrum master, managed a team owning a router R8801 product line in maintenance phase. With the highly responsible role delivered high quality standards of code maintenance with in product space. Mainly involved with Enhanced feature development and solving customer issues. Work expands to other non-owned products also including SSR and EVR line of routers. Consistently achieved the targets for the team exceeding the overall expectations in productivity in terms of problems solved. Worked on hands too to fix hot and priority customer issues along rising the Team and product management. Actively filed number of Pragatis to improve the process and product. Supporting HW, FW and SW issue fixes for major customers like NTT Japan, Uniadex and Vodafone Airtel Telecom giants. Effectively solved and driven a very hot yellow alert issue from customer on Machine check exceptions and router resets.

Sr. Staff, Tech Lead: Worked as Sr. Staff in Software development and lead a team of Engineers. Role involved with hands on work, recruitment and training, guiding engineers and managing resources for execution of product development from scratch. Steered projects for open source deliveries and in house SDK (SW dev kit consists of OS, apps and benchmarks for various XLR/XLS/XLP processor Eng. & evaluation boards) release that caters to full software development life cycle activities such as planning, scheduling, specifications, analysis, design development, testing, maintenance, bugs management and tracking in JIRA. Complete ownership of SDK release management. Test automation done from scratch with test matrix using TCL for testing various multiple software systems on the board. Activities caters to : VxWorks, Linux and BSD porting and device drivers, firmware, applications development, Web GUI developments for remote access and execution environment. JAVA applications for online access management of resources in lab. UTM (Unified Threat Management): Set up and testing on applications like Snort, IPSEC, ClamAV.

Samsung Electronics, Kiheung, South Korea: [May'2003 - May'2004]

Worked as Research Engineer in SOC modeling and video project development. Cycle close model for MPEG2 decoder developed in SystemC. This model uses OCP (open core protocol) interface to interact with other models in a system on Sonics bus. Transaction level ATAPI 6.0 interface modeled in SystemC. A front-end unit for testing HDD model and ARM software for device drivers developed using the ATAPI interface. DNIE subsystem model developed in such a way to mimic the bus behavior rather than complete functionality of noice blocks and others. This model consists of several internal components like spatial, temporal noise reduction, film to video conversion and color and tone enhancement. SystemC models integration into DTV project system architecture that involves the above models set up and testing. This system consists of several other models like DRAM, SONICS buses, DMA, ARM, audio/video sub subsystem, display sub system and CPU sub system.

Worked as a Senior SW Engineer developing SOC models and measuring system performance. Prototype system architectures for Mobile Portable Multimedia Platform (MPMP) have been set up. This project involves setting up of several modules like ARM processor, AHB bus control unit, memory controller, DMA controller, Interrupt controller etc. Aim of the project is to set up and study the performance differences among alternative architectures. There are three little different architectures set up as part of this project. Designed and developed DTL (Device Transaction Level) protocol compatible devices. The complete software life cycle model followed in this project. These devices also used in developing traffic generators. Those modules can generate random traffic (busloads) on the system based on the user inputs. Thus, user can tune the module for his/her requirements. The aim of the module is to mimic the system component like processor, peripheral etc.
