I’ve worked on several projects in the past where the knowledge that I’ve gained could really help Flagstar both now and in the future. I’ve tried to limit the focus to public facing apps and websites that you can see for yourselves. For starters take a look at https://www.gmcontactpreferences.com. This site was developed back in 2006 (when I first began consulting) to align GM with the federal do not call regulations. It allows customers (either directly or through their dealers) to specify what communications they do/don’t want to receive, even down to the brand level.
Another great project was the MiPage https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mipage/id562024977 application (built in 2015) which is a cross platform (iOS & Android) app built with Xamarin that brings many state services mobile, so that citizens don’t necessarily have to travel to a state office to do their business. The companion website (also built by my team) is the newly redesigned https://www.michigan.gov.
In 2017 I worked on a few different projects for Quicken Loans. One of which is an Alexa based project that allows customers to authorize mortgage payments by voice through the Alexa platform. I also led a team that helped alleviate a long standing problem within their marketing lead team. We stood up an MVP in 90 days and the team couldn’t be more thrilled.

In 2018 I began working on a pair of cross platform applications for Mercedes Benz. One app is specific for customers who have financed through Mercedes and allows them to make and schedule payments, download title and tax documents along with other services that reduced the number of calls to the call center by implementing this self service model. The other app is applicable for all Mercedes customers, and it includes the financial services, but also integrates the connected vehicle components (remote start, vehicle locator, etc.)

When I joined Ford, consumer consent was a completely siloed and disjointed system. In the time that I was there, we built a central privacy engine and onboarded multiple channels that place the power in the consumers hands. This is currently being used across the Ford landscape and will be integrated into the autonomous vehicle program when it launches, in order to provide customers with a personalized experience (ads, music, apps and other preferences).
