I was leading , delivering and managing a QA business worth 10million USD for a North American retail client Loblaws over multi year services and on premise engagement with distributed team across multiple region. Highlight included maintaining client SLA of 4/4 Q on Q basis for 3 years among 32 vendors which is the highest among all the client vendors. This included project management activities viz., scoping, estimation, tracking, release & change management for all phases of SDLC viz, Requirement, Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, Execution , Closure, Post Closure, Metrics and Shift left initiatives. Critical for success of project was customer transformation from a Waterfall to Agile after the first release. Customer strategically into a monthly release cycle and eventually to a weekly release. Challenge included design, development , validation and release of various product/project customization with platform. This was archived with agile , test automation (selenium) and devOps methods including continuous testing, CI and CD using Jenkins, Git, JIRA , Shell & Batch Ant, Maven stack Other responsibilities included: Coordinates release activities with the appropriate teams so that the final release is correct and of high quality, and packaged in a timely fashion Pre and Post testing of Installer and smoke validation for weekly/monthly releases Identifies and implement process improvements Coordinate with product teams to understand new releases Introduced process of various GA/major, service, and patch releases appropriately, following standards and understanding where there are variations by product Published Produces reports and metrics as requested Automation framework development, Automated install tests and batch jobs runs using CI and CD concepts
