The project is a market research where in field people do research using an android application. As a team we design the API’s for the web service calls and help in dynamic checking of the application i.e., there are some predefined set of instructions to the application for which conditions are checked using webservices which are implemented in Java.

A dashboard is present to get the reports and the reports are being designed by us.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of High & Low Level Designing Documents.
• Interacting with Onshore (US) Development, Client Teams for Functional requirement clarifications.
• Responsible for overseeing the Quality procedures related to the project.
• Coding and Unit testing.

SPF is a provident fund organization for seafarers, where in employer and employee contribute their income in respective rations which is maintained and validated.

System provides service to the people who are working in SPF and people who work along with SPF. This is developed for SPF for managing their requests and handling their requests and updating database accordingly and creating reports and validating user. We have three users.

We have three users. They are

• Admin,
• Seafarers/Employees,
• Employers.

Admin manages user accounts i.e. he creates users, modify users, delete users, handles requests created by users and also he can assign permissions for each user account.

Seafarers/Employees create their own login and check their contributions and can update their details and further create requests online.
Employers create their login by themselves and can contribute their part of income to employers and further add their company details along their roles and corresponding wages (pay-scale).

Responsibilities

• Preparation of High & Low Level Designing Documents.
• Interacting with Onshore (US) Development, Client Teams for Functional requirement clarifications.
• Responsible for overseeing the Quality procedures related to the project.
• Coding and Unit testing.

• Understanding the functionality and performing manual smoke/sanity testing, regression testing
• Executing the test cases on various devices with different image builds to ensure the stability of the bundle
• Performing interaction/interruption testing to ensure capability of the OS for multi processing
• Performing regression analysis and checking existing bugs and validating bug fixes
• Communicating with onsite development folks for bug resolution and functionality implementation queries
• Performing investigation on catastrophic, critical issues across all the devices variants and doing root cause analysis.
• Sending Smoke/sanity reports to clients in other regions of the globe.
