Description
DataWeb is used by both surveyors and lenders to manage the process of residential property valuation. Valuation Hub is the replacement for DataWeb as a case management system. Valuation Hub will be built as a single consistent codebase across all clients to enable faster change and a product that will readily support further extension and enhancement.
Valuation Hub fits in to a larger ecosystem, where lender instructions are entered or ingested into Valuation Hub, these are processed by other systems (VRM, Q-Mobile) and within Valuation Hub (e.g. to book surveyor appointments). Instructions, updates and reports are passed between systems via the SPN (secure panel network).

Service Request Team: Service Request team handles the SR (Service Request) raised by users in core processing system across all the modules. S45 Redesign: Section 45 was rolled out in 2006 as part of the IRIN system. Currently Local payers (LP - corporate entities) submit separate IR37 forms for each of their NR (Non residents). The new system is redesigned in such a way that LP can submit a single IR37 form with the list of multiple NRs in a single submission. This system involves implementing this change across the modules in the IRIN system.

SOAK is a help desk product. Subscribers purchase SOAK service to support their Customers. First a contract is created on a product with subscriber, service provider and customer details. As a part of the contract the subscriber and service providers expose their FAQ categories to the customer. That is, they share their knowledge base with the customer. The subscriber knowledge base contains the technical details of the serviced product; the service provider knowledge base contains the details of how to use SOAK, etc. When a customer has a problem on the supported product, he/she looks the knowledge base for the solution. If they dont find a solution, then they raise an incident directly (web) or indirectly (phone or email).Then the incident follows a life cycle of various stages, triggering notifications and escalations until it is successfully closed. The cases are analyzed later whether are closed as per the SLA through the reports generated. The System is designed in such a way that it should be loosely coupled in order to accommodate mobile users and also the service layer will be deployed as web services.

The purpose of the PIC (PIMS Integration Component) is to create a single integration solution between the existing PIMS (Personnel and Time and Attendance Management System) and PeopleSoft while preserving the PIMS NT Time and Attendance functionality. This was done to reduce the cost of transferring the existing PIMS business logic. PIC acts as a layer between PIMS and PeopleSoft. Xml is used to pass information between PIMS and PeopleSoft. PIC is a windows service to which an xml message is posted by PeopleSoft as http request. Based on this xml message the PIC calls the corresponding PIMS component. The result is collected by PIC and converted to xml before sending it back to PeopleSoft.
