Responsibility:

·       Coordinate with the Product Owner on current programming tasks.

·       Collaborate with other programmers to design and implement features.

·       Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, and documented source code.

·       Implemented Apache PIG scripts to load data from and to store data into Hive.

·       Involved in converting Hive/SQL queries into Spark transformations using Spark RDDs and Scala.

·       Involved in converting MapReduce programs into Spark transformations using Spark RDD in Scala.

·       Implemented Spark using Scala and utilizing Data frames and Spark SQL API for faster processing of data.

·       Used Avro, Parquet and ORC data formats to store in to HDFS.

·       Used Oozie workflow to co-ordinate pig and hive scripts.

·       Train the bank’s IT (Information Technology) team to eventually manage 1st level support for CMS system on their own.

·       Explain RCA report to MBB Weekly basis (if required).

·       Act as coordinator with offshore team for other activities and support every day defects .

Responsibilities:

·       Implemented soap web service for transaction module of web portal.

·       Mapped different association for persistent classes by using hibernate.

·       Wrote JUnit for newly developed backend modules.

·       Used parsers for parsing xml documents and used XML transformations using transformation server.

·       Implemented new web services to improve functionality.

·       Refactored code and test suites to promote code-reusable infrastructure.

·       Modified cache strategy for 3 types of messages support for SEPA.

·       Import data using Sqoop into Hive and Hbase from existing SQL Server.

·       Support code/design analysis, strategy development and project planning.

·       Involve in Requirement Analysis, Design, and Development.

·       Export and Import data into HDFS, HBase and Hive using Sqoop.
