The Objectives of the Hudson Program are: To migrate data off of Siebel and onto Strategic Barclays/UKRBB data stores To provide a platform that will enable achievement of 80% (average across all processing) straight through processing To provide a business capability for the achievement of on-going continued business process improvements that can be delivered at speed, with minimal cost. IBM BPM will support Barclays Business in achieving the following Project goals: Migration of all Barclays Business Processing away from Siebel 7.8 onto UKRBB strategic solutions 50% aggregate reduction in Operating Costs across Retail Operations processing areas which support Barclays Business. The Program is broken out into four functional work streams, namely; Onboarding, Mandate Change, Servicing and Lending.

In order to enable visibility and accountability across the organization, FG decided to introduce BPM. The implementation is done by using IBMs Lombardi which streamlined the end-to-end process flow. The existing end systems are all retained with ease and are integrated with Lombardi through IBM Websphere ESB (WESB) which served as an SOA Middleware layer. A BPM technology based insurance system, which offers end to end need of the customers starting from new business to policy issuance in Life domain. Integration with systems like AS 400, Omni Docs, HP Extreme, and Anti Money Laundering System and so on, which automates the whole process of Life Insurance. IBM WESB is the middle ware between BPM and other end systems which also include Mainframe.
