Future Generali (FG) is one of the leading Insurance companies in India and is based out of Mumbai. In order to enable visibility and accountability across the organization, FG decided to introduce BPM. The implementation is done by using IBMs Lombardi which streamlined the end-to-end process flow. The existing end systems are all retained with ease and are integrated with Lombardi through IBM Websphere ESB (WESB) which served as an SOA Middleware layer. A BPM technology based insurance system, which offers end to end need of the customers starting from new business to policy issuance in Life domain. Integration with systems like AS 400, Omni Docs, HP Extreme, and Anti Money Laundering System and so on, which automates the whole process of Life Insurance. IBM WESB is the middle ware between BPM and other end systems which also include Mainframe.
