It was Migration project and we have migrated 300 production servers to new versions of SQL servers as well as to Azure cloud.

As per migration steps we have done migrations .

· Installation and Configuration of SQL Servers 2016/2014 on Windows server depending upon the Client request.

· Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).

· Applying windows updated patches every month on physical machine during the approved down time.

· Configuring, Scheduling and administering routine Jobs, Alerts and Maintenance Plans. Backup and restore methods (Full, Diff & Transaction log) using script which is provided by the Client.

· Performed database Migration tasks from SQL server 2008 servers to 2014 /2016 servers as per user request.

· Implement DBA maintenance tasks for increase the Database performance with the help of Re-indexing, Re- organize index, and Update Statistics.

· Monitoring and resolved the space related alerts by raising the incidents to the Windows team.

· Created service accounts and updated the passwords in the client master Inventory.

· Provided support for the major incidents like P1 & P2 when user raised during the business loss.

· Worked on daily planned tasks which are raised by the business users.

· Provided support for the ITSM incidents and closed within the SLA.

· As a DBA providing 24/7 and on call Support for the users.

· Created Databases on Azure SQL for Test & Dev. Environment.

· Migrated On promises Databases to Azure server.

Worked as a SQL Admin provided 24/7 for production Environment, supported for SQL Server installation, Migration, backups& restore of the database , perfrmance issues and user related issues , and also worked on Azure SQL to create Databases on Azure and Migrated On primeses Dbs to Azure .
