Responsibilities

· Build/Kit/Testing of Compaq products.

· Development of Automated Regression Suite on Perl.

· This includes building and testing the graphical user interface on Windows and user interfaces on Tru64Unix and OVMS.

· Preparation of Test Plan, Scripts, Execution, Defect Logging, Configuration Management Activities

· Preparation of Status Reports including Defect Reports for Senior Management Team.

· SQA Activities which involves auditing projects for compliance to Quality Standards.

· Mentoring of junior team members.

Details Project involving conversion and validation of DC applications developed in C in Unix platform for Y2K compliance. The project also involved Development and Quality Checking of Code Checker tool which checks and confirms adherence of the input source code to Autozone Coding standards.

This involves Production Testing for all applications (Auto and Home owners) coming under Personal Lines Business. It also includes an initiative from Travellers to change their data warehousing from existing different data warehouses for Property and Auto to a combined data warehouse called PLW in Teradata and project involvement included Unit Testing and Regression testing for monthly releases on these changes as well as on any new functionality.

Project involving building/kitting/testing and releasing of Compaq System Tools/Applications like CRSS(Compaq Remote Support Services), Webes, Service Cockpit etc
