Designed and built a full-stack volunteer scheduling system from scratch for a local church congregation, using Go (Fiber) for the backend REST API and Next.js 16 for the frontend, deployed as cloud-native services on Google Cloud Run with Cloud SQL and provisioned via Terraform. Implemented a constraint-based auto-scheduling algorithm that automatically assigns 190+ volunteers to service positions, respecting role requirements, availability restrictions, partner preferences, and fair workload distribution across a distributed system of events and roles. Developed the entire project using an agentic AI workflow with Claude Code, accelerating architecture decisions, code generation and testing while maintaining Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and clean architecture principles. Configured a full CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions for automated build, test and deployment to Google Cloud Run, with observability through structured logging and health checks.
