I used to ownrecharge / billpay microservice, where once transaction fails we used to refund next day once we get settlement file from our service providers like euronet / billdesk. This was a pain point for customers as he had to wait till next day to receive the refund even though transaction fails. I built a automated reversal engine which used to get triggered on transaction failure and refund the transaction. It was also taking care of partial refunds.

I was working for barclay card us where we had legacy .net application for customer care helpdesk, which was used to handle various customer qeries. My team built a small web app with critical functionalities so that whenever legacy application encounters an failure or goes under maintainance, this can be used to serve customers. We built web application using Angular 2.0, built RESTful gateway which was talking to legacy SOAP apis and sending response to web application in restful manner. We used Java springboot for backend.

Created the recommendation system for peoples migrating to city. It will recommend them suitable area based on their lifestyle, income, dependents etc. Experimented on Delhis household data, modified k-means algorithm to achieve the same. Used R-statistics to implement the above algorithm.
