PIM is the system of record for global financial classification hierarchy (called Monarch Hierarchies); products are classified into various finance classification catalogs for 3rd party, Dell manufactured and Service SKUs. The Monarch attribution activity enables the assignment of product offering codes to individual sku where the product offer is set in a hierarchy to enable upwards/drilldown reporting.

Product Master Files (PMF) has been developed to manage the life cycle of product and made it accessible to all BT domains by acting as a central repository.

• Performed several functional setups such as creating the ICC structure, User Defined Attributes (UDA), Valuesets, Lookups, Descriptive Flex Field, Downloading LDTsand preparing the corresponding setup documents.
• Acted as primary owner of CRs which involves development using Pl/SQL procedures and PIM APIs, Deployment in Linux Environment and defect fixing.

Involved in few important functionalities like Dynamic creation of Attribute groups and attributes, Structure linking and Validations

MDM (Master Data Management) – Managing the master data, as they are accessible from different ordering applications across BT domains.

CPE Alignment application was developed to manage product life cycle, which includes upload, adoption and deletion of products by product manager

• Involved in the development of Product upload using PIM Excel upload feature.
• Involved in the development of functionalities in oracle-stored procedures.
• Creation and deletion of products using Oracle APIs
• Configuration of events and ICC’s in PIM.
• Performance tuning for the application at code level.

· Involved in phases such as requirements gathering, Analysis, Design, Documentation, Development, Rollout documentation, Testing, Production deployment support.

· Design and review technical documentation

· Performed setup /configurations like ICC structure, User Defined Attributes(UDA), Valuesets, Lookups, Descriptive flex fields, Rules, Batch Import, Display Format, Import Format, Downloading / Uploading LDTs and prepared corresponding setup documents.

· Developed Item creation in PIM using API’s, Import workbench, Interface tables.

· Developed inbound/outbound data flows with up/down stream systems.

· Worked on Alternate catalog categories functionalities to maintain catalog information such as ACC creation updation , deletion, move, inactivation using oracle API’s .

· Worked on Rules setup, custom rules, BO reports.

· Handled SRs with Oracle.
