The BOM Technical Definition (BTD) is a tool to document and validate DT. The TD is the format for the Engineering Departments to internal exchange of the information on parts. It helps users to analyse, create and modify the parts used in the projects. This information is shared with other business units.

This is alliance project for both Renault and Nissan. This application is used to do the configuration of parts required to build a car in design phase. This is an extended application of BTD i.e BOM Technical Definition. This application is finally generates the BOM(Bill of materials) data.
