Red Taxi is Coimbatore’s largest luxury taxi service provider with more than 600 cabs. There are two different categories of vehicle, which is red taxi (sedan) and Red Go (Hatchback). Red Taxi is best known for its on-time and quality services. Our application will help to make the cab booking in a simple and quicker way for customers. With this application, cab booking can be made within 30 seconds. Key features of this application:

1. Easy and simple registration process using your mobile number.

2. Home address and office address can be saved during the registration process for future bookings.

3. Select your choice of car, Red Taxi or Red GO, based on your need and availability.

4. Choose Pick-up Place:

4a) Via Map: Based on your GPS/GPRS location services, the application identifies the existing user location. You can choose that as Pick-up address or you can choose a different pick-up place by moving Pointer to the desired pick place on the map.

4b) Manual: The pick-up location can be manually selected by clicking the “search icon”.

4c) Saved Address: Home/Office address which was saved during registration and it can be used for selecting pick up and drop place for further booking.

4d) Favorites: By choosing “Search Icon” user can add multiple addresses of frequently used locations and it can be used to select as pick-up and drop place for quick booking.

5.Time & Date: your location.and time of your pickup.

6.Confirmation: Confirm the booking by selecting “Book” after checking the entered details.

7.Booking Details: After the confirmation, booking ID will be generated and the nearest cab will be assigned for your pick up. Details of the driver and cab will be displayed in the tracking page and SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number along with Booking ID.

7.a) For current/immediate bookings, select now for the nearest cab in

7.b) For later bookings, click today/tomm/later and then select the date

8. Tracking: The cab location from the pick up place can be tracked and you can call the assigned cab driver by clicking in call driver button. Drop place can be added or edited in the tracking page.

9.Payment: After completion of the trip, you will receive the notification that the trip has ended. The trip details and the total amount to be paid will be displayed in the payment page. The payment can be made either by cash to driver or through paytm wallet.

9.a) Paytm wallet: After choosing to pay through paytm wallet, login to paytm using your registered credentials with paytm and pay the trip amount. You will be notified whether the transaction with paytm is successful or not.

10. Rating: Once the payment is made, you will be asked to rate the driver. Please provide your rating and click submit.

The past trip details and history can be seen by clicking ‘Manage Bookings’. The estimated fare for a trip can be calculated by clicking ‘Route Fare’. The pick up and drop place details can be entered there and choice of vehicle category can be selected and click ‘calculate’ to find the estimated fare.
