Hands on experience in working with Hadoop and Spark ecosystems tools like: Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Spark Core and Spark SQL. Hands on experience in creating Hive tables and using Partition and bucketing techniques to improve Hive query performance. Hands on experience in using Sqoop to import data from relational databases such as MySql to Hadoop file system. Efficient in building Hive scripts, Sqoop jobs and Spark Applications. Experience in working with Linux distributions such as Cent OS, Ubuntu etc. Good oral and written communication and documentation skills and an excellent team player.
