Brief Description Projects delivered on above switches were a new Gigabit Ethernet card, L2/L3, SDH, SONET, AINI, PBR, APS, LSR, Mpls VPN, PWE3, ATAF with various upgrade features. The first release to combine CBX 500/3500 and GX 550 multiservice switching platforms
Responsibilities: Looking after Layer1 Drivers, Network Processors and Layer 2 Drivers Software, embedded software development group.
 Managing all aspects of software development for various features as Engineering Lead for Release 10.0. Involving 100+ members from Dev and Testing teams in India. H/W, Product Management and part Program management and Dev teams located in the US.
 Working closely with Systems’ Team to on OS, Redundancy and other issues/features.
 Continuously interacting with PLM/ TPM teams on new customer requirements and Release content.

Multi-Service Switches CBX 500, GX 550, CBX 3500 - Technical Manager/Engineering/DevOps Lead

• Delivered a new gigabit Ethernet card, AINI, PBR, APS, LSR, PWE3, and ATAF with various upgrade features
• Led device driver firmware development team of 30 members and managed all aspects of software development for various features of Release 10.0.
• Handled product and part of program management and worked with teams in the USA
• Coordinated with the PLM/TPM teams on customer requirements and release content , devised and implemented zdevOps procedures

 Converting existing DSL Line Cards to a generic framework thereby streamlining the process for development of new DSL line cards.
 Implementing a Generic framework for DSL line cards in Lucent’s Next-Gen Broadband Access product.
 Executing Generic Architecture for Slot Card Attributes in STINGER platform.
 Employing Generic Scheme for Slot Card Attributes in the Stinger.
 Applying PIM multicast protocol in STINGER; carried out initial investigation/Design and guided team member through coding, testing and IGMP V2 MIB implementation

• Carrying out component testing by using GDB; Integration testing Fujitsu’s proprietary switch simulator interface.
