First mobile is a mobile banking application that allows user to access available mobile banking offerings leveraging on their accounts with the bank, offerings such as local transfers, Interbank transfers, bills payment and many more.
My role in the project is described below:

-Built and implemented 70% of the third-party integrations for one of Nigeria’s largest banks which owns the app which is responsible for the over 500,000 transactions being processed per day
● Built and Implemented admin monitoring portal for the bank’s subsidiaries in 5 African countries with multiple language capability which is used to oversee and provide support to customers. With Live Audit Capabilities for all Console user operations
● Identified and fixed service bottleneck in a legacy codebase by improving database query leading to 100% reduction in server restarts.

● Performed architectural and code reviews of pull requests for features and bug fixes being worked on by colleagues.

● Resolved database lock problems by using optimistic locking mechanisms

● Contributed to an internal payment library/ commons library by adding new features improving team’s productivity by 10%

Chaka.com is a stocks platform that gives Nigerian users the opportunity to invest in local and global stocks and other stock products.
some of my role in the project was:~
● Implementation of new global and local stocks features targeted at driving app usage and customer retention.

● New features Integration to major global (e.g., US) and local (Nigerian) stocks and financial service providers.

● Implemented referral implementations targeted at global stocks users and automated payout upon referrals.

● Implementation of device tagging technologies with firebase notification integration.

● Software design and code reviews of pull requests for features and bug fixes being worked on by colleagues in capacity as backend team lead.

● Partook in key decision-making process with respect to architectural designs and product updates

● Liaise with products and finOps team in resolving critical user issues with respect to stock purchase, fundings, exchanges for both local and global stocks/instrument

The mobile banking portal was built so help bank admin users manage customer profile and provide quick resolution for user complaints.
It sits ontop of a MSSQL database to make user information available and modification seamless. 
It is a software internal to the bank and as such information provided is limited due to NDA.
