Description
A novel algorithm was developed and programmed using Bash, Python and Fortran 90 to determine the position of each incident neutron in a wide angular coverage detector (now called MONDE).
When a neutron strikes MONDE, it generates a spark that its intensity is detected with spark detectors along it thus a 2D network was assumed with a refinement of centimeters between each net point. With the data of each spark detector we recreated the ponts where a neutron could have generated a spark with that intensity. Therefore the intersection of all points give us the location of a neutron striking MONDE.
