This website is to provide mental health resources for a non-profit organization in Ghana.

The Trainer is my first major project that was started toward the beginning of my Bootstrap course. This website and application is intended for personal trainers and their clients to connect.

Trainers have the capability to create custom exercises and workouts to share with their clients. These exercises will have videos and images that will show the client how they are done with proper form. The client will also be able to read a short description of the exercises and log their set, reps, and weights used. Once a workout is completed, the trainer will be notified so they can congratulate and continue to encourage their clients. A chat component will also be built in the near future for continued communication regarding upcoming training sessions, the custom workouts, and more!

My biggest hurdle was converting this idea from basic HTML, CSS, and Boostrap to a React application. Along the way, I made edits to the layout and functionality so the user experience is positive. I plan to also convert this to React Native and offer this website and application to gyms and trainers.

My portfolio is used to showcase my work, education, skills, and a way to get to know me. Like all of my websites, I have a 'mobile first' approach. I feel it is important for the client or customer to have a positive experience with my inclusion of a few 'WOW' factors and an easy navigation of the page.

HTML and custom CSS were primarily used to create the layout of this website. I enjoyed building the different sections to showcase my skills, projects, education, and myself. The biggest hurdle while building my portfolio was to not rely on Bootstrap's prebuilt components, JavaScript plugins, and the style selections. Everything is customized from the buttons, navigation, the 'My Work' effects, and more.
