Project Profile: MNC Bank project which involves resolution of customer issues and queries and co-ordination for

digital banking applications.

Responsibilities:

• Checking standard user Production INCs/L2 Support

• Root cause analysis of the issues and categorization

• Application Monitoring

• Creation of SOP documentation

Monitor the database related activities, respond calls from the Application support and developments teams.

• Monitor the metric alerts, performance related issues like high CPU utilization, Application performance, high

Memory utilization

• Monitor the event alerts and notify to the concerned team and process the requests from the end users

Role: WebSphere Administrator

Location: Kolkata

Project Profile: MNC Bank project being part of DevOps Team, project which involves managing the environments

of the retail partners of Citi bank and also looking into the BAU activities.

Responsibilities:

 To ensure that the issues are solved on schedule, communicating with client, project management and

team members.

 Understanding feasibility of business requirement, propose technical solutions.

 Helping Team by providing them KT session and building competency on client issues.

 Documentations of work done for the Client.

 Co-ordinating with the onsite team.

 Follow up the Clients and Application Team

Work Experience:

 Installed and configured IBM Http Server 8.5.5.1, WebSphere Application Server Network

Deployment (ND), 7.0/8.5.5 on RedHat Linux 6.3

 Involved in deploying the applications both from the command line using Was admin commands and

from the Admin Console.

 Configured Web server plug-in to directing dynamic requests to application servers for load balance

in clustered environment.

 Installed EARs, WARs and configured application specific JVM settings, Web container parameters

using the Admin Console and WSADMIN.

 Involved in Performance tuning such as tuning the web server by specifying the parameters for the

maxclient, start servers. Tuning the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) by specifying the minimum and

maximum heap size and also heap and thread dump analysis.

 Involved in Stopping/Starting & Monitoring the logs for Application Server Instances.

 Involved in issues like Application not responding. Application Deployment Errors, Wrong Database

host name, Server Hung due to out of memory or thread hanging, Owner ship issue.

 Troubleshoot Admin Server start-up issues, Java code defects after deployment, and class path issues

by checking the JVM logs, plug-in logs and the WebServer logs

 Enabled SSL and was responsible for installing the certificates and configuring them in the IBM Http

Server

 Configured and setup Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) for data encryption and client authentication.

Role: Database Administrator

Location: Kolkata

Project Profile: PAG is the Product Alliance Group which provided technical support to clients on various technologies

all across India, which included technology like (Oracle DB, IBM Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Exchange etc). Support

was provided to clients via WebEx, On-Call site support as well as desk support.

Responsibilities:

 To ensure that the issues are solved on schedule, communicating with client, project management and

team members.

 Understanding feasibility of business requirement, propose technical solutions.

 Helping Team by providing them KT session and building competency on client issues.

 Documentations of work done on testing servers.

Work Experience:

 Installation, Migration & upgradation of Oracle Database 10g and 11g in different Operating

Systems.

 Backup recovery strategies like Cold Backup, Hot Backup, Database Cloning, Export / Import,

Datapump and RMAN.

 General Database management like Network configuration, tablespace management, undo tablespace,

users and privileges management, statspack generation, monitoring and troubleshooti ng database

issues.

 Implementation like Physical Standby, Oracle Goldengate and RAC

Support client on Middleware and IIB.
