Project Description: Synchrony Financial Release management team is responsible for planned systematic code maintenance using the repositories like SVN, GIT(Bitbucket) and Nexus. And also involves in the code build activities using jenkins tool which is automated with CI tools like ANT, MAVEN, and Junit. Release Management (RM) team provides an effective, efficient, and standard process to accurately manage the execution of changes to the production environment without impacting current production capability. The Release process provides the capability to request, review, approve, execute, and control production changes and mitigate risks associated with implementation. Role: Team Member(Associate Consultant) Responsibilities:  Enabling customers to better manage software development, deployments and infrastructure with tools such as U Deploy, Jenkins and BitBucket.  Extensive knowledge of Release management process.  Taking care of defect free releases by the systematic code freezing/staging and deployment in to production environments.  Involved in all release activities independent of technologies like Mainframe/AS400/Unix/ Java/DWH.  Experienced in Deployment Automation and management of Version Control System SVN, BitBucket.  Involved in the migration of code from Subversion to GIT.  Code Merging with the Master branch/trunk after every release.  Creating and configuring application in SCM, Build and Deployment tools when onboarded into the system.  Experienced in Build and Deployment of different applications on to different environments like Development, QA, UAT and Production.  Enhancing project processes based on Application team Requirements. Led training sessions for team members covering the above enhanced processes.  Having knowledge on Ansible and Docker.

Currently working as DevOps and build engineer in capgemini. We used to deploy deifferent types of applications such as Java, Cloud, Unix and DWH by using the tools Jenkins, U Deploy, Bit Bucket, GIT, SVN, Ansible and Docker
