NewPOS [NP6] is a Product Suite designed to offer an environment to customize and deploy a QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Point of Sale (POS) global solution. Basically, a NewPOS 6 system runs on a specialized PC-type computer with a Microsoft Windows operating system.

NP6 application allow end user to take order through order taker, front counter, drive through, Kiosk, tender the order, Serve the order etc.NP6 will generate various type of reports & also helps in managing a whole restaurant/store.

Basically, NewPOS [NP6] Product Suite is designed to customize and deploy the end customer eatable orders with quick and accurate service. End users of this application are restaurant crew members & managers.

Modules:

· Kiosk (Customer Self Ordering Kiosk)

· RCT (Restaurant Configuration Tool)

· RFM (Restaurant File Manager)

Role and responsibilities:

• Review of design documents.

• Creation and Reviews of Test Cases.

• Creation of Test Scenarios and understanding of design documents.

• Daily Status Reporting.

• Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing.

• Reporting and tracking of Defects.

• Interaction with client for requirement gathering, system analysis and finalization of technical/functional specifications as well as high level design documents for the project.

• Training & mentoring to new team members.

• Interaction with OSC and SMC for queries resolution.

Project Description:

ECS is an integrated system which covers the processing Eg.Claim starting with reporting of claim & end with closing the claim. Enterprise Claims System (ECS) program consists of the Property and Casualty claims system, which is the heart of client’s business. This program is divided into several functional verticals such as ‘Claim Management’, ‘Bill Management’, ‘Financials’, ‘Org’, ‘Claim Performer’, ‘Doc Management’ etc. as well as some thread functionalities like ‘Tasks’, ‘Prints and Fax’, ‘Interfaces’ etc. to effectively manage and deliver complex services.

ECS Testing project performs verification of the builds deployed to the environment, functional test cases execution for all verticals, data creation meeting the pre-requisites for execution of test cases.

Role and responsibilities:

• Preparing and execution of Test Cases.

• Verification of Environment and validation of functionalities during offshore working hours. Based on build verification results, decision made by Offshore team regarding making environment available for Onsite testing

• Carrying out Functional & Regression testing.

• Defect reporting and defect verification.

• Maintaining query tracking sheet.

• Executing test automation scripts and troubleshooting failed scripts as needed.

• Participate in weekly conference call with the customer to review progress of the project.
