Description

The product development is initiated to find a solution which will be able to deliver cross-system, cross-border and cross-currency (Domestic/Cross-border/Single-Currency/Cross-Currency) liquidity solutions for Pooling & Cash concentration in an effective way with faster time to market. The following being the broad phases: • Notional Pooling Products (Phase 1) • Cash Concentration Products (Phase 2) • Standalone Interest Calculations products(Phase 3) • Intercompany Loans(Phase 4) Due to wide variety of Bank's back office systems (BOS), it's very difficult to achieve the above mentioned objective using the existing BOS. The centralized system will be called as Global Liquidity Engine (GLE) and connected to other Bank systems. GLE receives customer details, balance, Interest rate and FX rate information from various BOS systems and using the pre-defined rules (by GLE operator with Relationship Manager's instruction) to do interest and sweep calculations. After calculations are done, GLE sends interest accrual; interest settlement and cash sweep instructions to BOS, which will process them.

The company has decided to migrate current legacy product to Microservice/Spring boot based architecture.

The application provides web based interface to Standard Life Canada customers to submit their claims online. The application accepts scanned copies of receipts and also manually entered claim data. The combination of REST and SOAP web services used to connect different applications to access customer data, service providers and related data from different databases. The TPA application connects via SOAP services where actually claim gets processed.
