SENIOR PYTHON ENGINEER

We are looking for Sr. Python Engineers with 5 to 8 years of work experience. 

We are seeking talent who can:

- Design and build advanced backend applications

- Work closely with other teams throughout development iterations in an agile environment.

- Write code that is both functional and elegant, following appropriate design patterns

- Develop systems that are maintainable and scalable

- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

- Diagnose and identify issues to provide quick solutions

- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

- Ability to mentor junior and mid level developers

Desired Skills and Competencies:

- A very deep familiarity with Python and at-least one python web framework such as Django or FastAPI

- Have developed one or more websites/products

- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as K8, EC2, Lambda, RDS, etc.

- Deep Understanding of databases and SQL (Postgres and SQLAlchemy)

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- Experience in building Rest APIs

- Good problem-solving skills

- Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture

- Knowledge of Celery and AsyncIO is good to have
