Automation tester

Job Overview: 

We are looking for a highly-skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests.

Vendify is an IoT SaaS that helps enterprises manage their vending machine business on a monthly subscription model. 

Vendify offers a complete solution through which Vending Machine businesses can manage their entire supply chain from supplier to their end consumer as well as making vending machines smart by digitizing them and offering enhanced customer experience to their end consumers.

Roles and responsibilities

1. Build and test products that meet user expectations. Automate acceptance tests by leveraging coding skills
2. Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
3. Write automated tests at the UI level with selenium and unit test
4. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
5. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
6. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using selenium, Maven, TestNG, Eclipse
7. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
8. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
9. Develop and apply testing processes for products
10. Coordinate with internal teams and external teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
11. Monitor debugging process results
12. Monitor and Log errors recorded in the production system logs
13. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
14. Performance and Load Testing
15. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Technologies

Qualifications:

  Must have skills: 

Selenium

TestNG

Maven

Java, Eclipse

POM architecture

Postman or any API testing tool

Good to have skills: 

Jmeter

CI-CD tools

SQL
