Solution Architect

We have an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join a large and dynamic IT Solutions & Services organisation. We are looking to speak to CCIE certified Consultants with 8+ years client facing Consulting experience; equally comfortable operating in Solution Architecture, Pre Sales or a Professional Services Consultant Consultancy capacity

The successful candidate will be a router Specialist, ideally CCIE certified with expert router technical experience including design, implementation and support of qualcomm/Mtk Network solutions, ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst and Nexus switches and wireless controllers, Security products, Firewalls, IPS/IDS. You will have significant Solution Architecture Pre Sales and Consultancy experience with Cisco UCS, Private Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Data Centres and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.

Our customers clients are telecom clients, so experience of large-scale enterprise support utilising industry best practices and mature processes is a pre-requisite.

You enjoy Solution Architecture and developing Proof and Concepts to meet customer needs, You are comfortable writing both high level and lower level Design Solutions as well as implementing agreed designs. You are very comfortable operating in a Pre-Sales capacity, meeting new customers, consulting on client sites and coming up to speed on new environments very quickly. You have strong commercial awareness with excellent communications skills and are capable of translating complex technology issues into language that non-technical customers can understand, especially communicating to senior management around potential investment cost of proposed Solutions / Designs and return on investment.
