Backend Engineer

Backend is built with Nodejs/Golang/Java/Other depending on requirement.

• Our infra runs on AWS. Our CI/CD is on AWS code pipelines. We use a bunch of other AWS services.

Your responsibilities would be to :

• Work with product and engineering teams to innovate, build and evolve MoneyPlanned's platform.

• Design, implement, deploy and maintain backend services built on microservice architecture.

• Ensure stability, scalability and security of the platform to provide best experience to customers.

• Write high quality code, test cases and do strict code reviews to build reliable, robust and maintainable systems.

• Identify and introduce new technologies that improves our platform.

• Document the APIs, feature implementations (high level and low level designs). 

You'll fit right in if you :

• Have 2.5+ years of experience designing, building and maintaining backend services.

• Are strong in any one of the following programming languages - Java, Golang, Python, Javascript, C++, C#, Ruby. Open to work with multiple languages(based on service requirements)

• Experience working with databases and other datastores (MySQL/Postgresql, mongodb, redis...), message brokers (AWS SQS/RabbitMQ/Kafka...)

• Have good analytical and problem solving skills and desire to solve complex problems.

It would be great if you have :

• Written and maintained services in golang.

• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining infrastructure on AWS.

• Experience with docker and any container orchestration tools
