Senior Android Developer

Job Description:

Role Expectations:

Design and implement new features using the latest Android APIs.

Work on advanced areas of the Android system, such as lock screen activities.

Lead efforts on architectural design, automated testing, continuous integration and build management.

Work with our design team to implement repeatable components as part of our design system.

Participate in design reviews, code reviews and functional demos.

Test quality through the unit and functional test implementation and execution.

Keep up to date with state-of-the-art Android development.

Preferred Qualifications:

#1 – a real passion for the Android platform and state of the art tools and APIs

5+ years of significant experience with software development and debugging

3+ years of Android development experience

Experience shipping and maintaining multiple Android apps in the Play Store

Excellent analytical skills

You have a high standard for clean code

Experience writing unit tests

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Experience with Git

Experience with MVVM “Model View ViewModel”

Experience with Kotlin is a plus
