SR SOFTWARE ENGINEER-DEVOPS ROLE
Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
● Manage the deployment of the entire software stack of Disprz across our global
cloud data centers on Azure / AWS (we are currently 80% Azure, 20% AWS)
● Deploy the entire suite of cloud services ranging from back-end APIs / services,
micro-services, databases and other PaaS services like media services, traffic
manager, WAF, etc.,
● Write scripts for deployment automation and implement CI / CD best practices
● Ensure SLAs committed with customers on availability are met at all times
● Ensure the cloud services are optimised for performance and cost, by taking a data
driven approach to analyse utilization and cost
● Work with engineering, QA, product development and data science team within our
agile squads to meet delivery deadlines
● Provide input to enterprise architects and principal engineers on the optimal choice of
data or services backbone
● Research on latest DevOps trends, practices and implement them within our agile
squads
● Act as the first point of contact for security and info-sec related queries by sales /
pre-sales / customer success teams
Education
● Engineering degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a top
institute with an excellent academic record
Experience
● Minimum 5 years of IT industry / tech start-up experience across software
development and DevOps, with atleast 1 year of experience in DevOps
● Have a proven track record of on time and high-quality project delivery
● Experience of having operated effectively in a high demand, rapidly shifting / fluid
environment.
Functional Skill Set
● Extensive knowledge of cloud services across one of Azure or AWS (Azure is
recommended but knowing only AWS will not be a deterrent)
● Strong data interpretation skills and ability to get insights from raw data on utilization,
performance, traffic and costs
● Hands-on coding experience in Javascript, .NET (preferred) or Java
● Deep understanding of GIT and other automation tools like Jenkins

● Lives and breathes a proactive delivery mindset, role-filling as necessary to meet
program goals.
● Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage through times of
uncertainty and change
● Ability to work with engineering teams virtually
● Exceptional problem solving skills, with the ability to work across organizational
boundaries to drive closure of complex delivery challenges
● Manage program/project schedules and associated dependencies, identify possible
issues/risks/actions and clearly work with key stakeholders to mitigate for them
● Ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges
across a wide range of audiences
