Android Developer

Responsibilities

1. Design & develop the Android application as per desired specifications
2. Own end to end product modules/features (from requirement to going live)
3. Design & code review, troubleshoot & help team members on issues
4. Gather requirements by interacting directly with the end users
5. Research on open source framework/technology required for developing the feature/application
6. Team Management and mentoring junior developers.

Requirements And Skills

1. Experience in Android-specific application development.
2. Min. 2 years of software programming experience with 1 years of Java application development, with extensive use of Java I/O, Collections, Algorithms and well-known application frameworks.
3. Good understanding of OO concepts.
4. Experience in Kotlin and Java.
5. Good understanding of Design Patterns.
6. Proficient in requirement gathering and analysis.
7. Exposure to at least one of these mobile platforms: J2ME, Windows Mobile 5.0 + (not WinCE), Symbian (S60 or S40), Embedded Linux or BlackBerry.
8. At least two commercially published applications available for immediate download and review of your contributions by our development team.
9. A solid understanding of operating system fundamentals such as processes, inter-process communication, multi-threading primitives, race conditions and deadlocks
