Job Description
Ability to design a full network architecture which include subnets, NATing, route tables etc. Ability to articulate the security concerns and to design and implement solutions to these
Expertise in at least five of the following core technologies: Advanced Threat Protection, Email security, Endpoint Security, Web Application firewalling, Network Security Management, SIEM.
Understanding and ability to articulate the cost, security and performance trade-offs of various network designs.
Be familiar with primary networking equipment, i.e. Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and wide-area communications.
Practical experience in OSPF and BGP is required.
Ability to configure NextGen Firewalls Ability to liaise with AWS (optional).
Experience with FortiGate Firewalls is mandatory.
Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions around next-generation firewalling, data-centre switching and SD-WAN.
Experience with some of the following vendor products; Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Forti-Manager, Juniper, F5 Networks, Cisco, Aruba.
Continuously works on developing knowledge and skills to remain proficient with the relevant Fortinet technologies, products and services.
Working under pressure, multitasking between simultaneous projects and responding to deadlines.
