Principle Software Engineer/ Lead Developer

Responsibilities will include:

Core development of our web applications leveraging React / JavaScript and Linux technologies, including: NodeJS, Python, and Linux scripting tools
Provide application design leadership to the Engineering team; hands-on technical leadership of the development of product
Work to ensure the quality of product being delivered; partner with, and provide leadership to, Quality Assurance
Participate in product architecture
Partner with UI designers in the development of new product features
Partner and collaborate with Product Management to define, prioritize and implement product features
Participate in, and provide leadership to, Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience developing software products. Focus backendd development, web application development using Javascript (React preferred) along with a strong understanding of architecture and data management
5+ years of experience developing Linux applications, including: NodeJS, Python, or other Linux-based development products
Technical/project lead, architecture, and other experience desired
Expertise with development of RESTful Web Services
Strong experience with UI development and scripting languages including: JavaScript, HTML / HTML5, CSS, Web Services/APIs and SQL
Agile Development Methodology, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration processes
Database experience including design, development, and data processing (batch processing, ETL, reporting, etc.)
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery

Ability to collaborate in a team environment, and able to adapt effectively and quickly to a rapidly changing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience or comfort working in a startup environment
Team player.

SaaS platform development and support
Experience with Snowflake
