Full Stack Developer

The Level II Software Engineer will be required to lead complex software development projects utilizing Microsoft Windows-based compilers and debugging tools to design and develop ground-based software systems and complementary monitoring and support software. This position requires strong communication and leadership skills with demonstrated success in development experience. The candidate must be able to drive the development of and maintain ownership of complex software projects throughout the life cycle, including specification, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and post-release maintenance. Each candidate will be required to demonstrate a commitment to process/policy compliance and a willingness to promote continuous improvement initiatives. A successful candidate must work with a significant amount of independence, take the initiative in proposing ideas, soliciting input, and optimizing solutions while taking direction from higher-level management. Further, a qualifying candidate should be familiar with cloud-based micro services architecture and cloud software systems design, with the knowledge to test, debug, and release software in an Agile, continuous improvement environment.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

• Collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
• Design/Architect and document software systems, APIs, and software modules meeting requirements
• Write clean, well-thought-out code with an emphasis on quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability
• Generate documentation, as required, to support the design, coding, QA, and verification process of completed software
• Aid in the development of test software necessary for the QA testing of released products
• Follow company-based development procedures, including Agile and sprint-based methodologies
• Interface and work closely with internal and external personnel, including Customers
• Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing and new software products
• This role is very backend focused
• May travel, as required, to accommodate the above duties

• 3+ years of experience programming in C#, Java, Python, or other general-purpose programming languages
• 2+ Year Experience with Azure Cloud Services or similar.
• 1+ years experience in C#/.NET/.NET Core Programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to work on cross-platform code
• Experience with developing Graphical User Interfaces, REST, and API Services for Microsoft Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems
• Good working knowledge of VS 2019, VS Code, GIT, Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps tools
• Experience in developing and implementing test procedures, test cases, and requirements analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency with other software development languages and tools (JavaScript, Python,
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• Proficient/Fluent English Skills. Ability to express any idea with good vocabulary and grammar. Both your spoken and written skills are needed.

• Experience with ASP.NET Core Web development and MVC Software Design Pattern a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes/Docker or other microservices infrastructure a plus 
• Experience with Vue development a plus
• Experience in database application development a plus (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL….)
• Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and be productive
• Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
• Working knowledge of IP-based data networks and software.
• FAA Certifications including Pilot Certificate a plus

• Minimum of BS or BA in computer science, computer engineering, or related degree
• Leadership certifications a plus
