What you’ll be doing You’ll be working on a cloud migration strategy, on the data and platform architecture, on implementing re-engineering strategies and building ETL pipelines. You’ll be writing selfexplanatory, clean code. Your code will produce the same, predictable results, over and over again. You’ll be making frequent, small releases. You’ll be working in pairs. You’ll be doing peer code reviews. You will be responsible for all aspects of development – from understanding requirements and driving the technical architecture to writing test cases where possible, development, deployment and fixes. You will own the entire stack and take complete ownership of the solution. And, most importantly, you’ll be making a pledge that you’ll never stop learning! Skills you need in order to succeed in this role Most Important: Integrity of character, diligence and the commitment to do your best Must Have: Microsoft SSIS/Apache NiFi, Azure Data Factory, SQL, MongoDB, Python,/Java, SOAP/REST Web Services, Test Driven Development • Experience in solution conceptualization and technical architecture design for data warehousing and data lake initiatives on the Azure cloud • Hands-on implementation expertise • Knowledge of hybrid environment architecture • Experience with cloud DevOps solutions and cloud data and application migration • Self-Learner: You must be extremely hands-on and obsessive about delivering clean code • Sense of Ownership: Do whatever it takes to meet development timelines • Experience in working with SSIS/Apache NiFi packages for ETL • Expertise in database concepts and optimization of complex queries. • Experience with database versioning, backups, restores and migration, and automation of the same • Ability to perform database performance tuning queries • Expertise in data security and integrity • Experience in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and software engineering methodologies • Experience working in agile and eXtreme Programming methodologies in a continuous deployment environment • Expertise in web server ecosystems, TDD, CI tools like Jenkins, Hudson and Bamboo, complexity analysis and performance optimization • Working knowledge of server configuration / deployment infrastructure • Experience using source control and bug tracking systems, writing user stories and technical documentation
