Frontend Developer

Experience in Angular 5+ with Typescript.• 5+ years of JavaScript application development experience.• Familiar with latest JavaScript features (ES6+).• Able to handle frontend backend asynchronous communication properly and efficiently with RxJS library.• Advanced experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.• Good design sense and ability to translate design mock-ups into application.• Familiar with component-based front-end design.• A solid understanding of source control and Git.• Familiar with development of cross-browser front end applications.• Experience with Progressive Web App (PWA) would be an asset.• JavaScript build system experience (Webpack), Visual Studio Code or WebStorm would be an asset.• Experience with Material Design would be an asset.
Good to Have:• Cloud Infrastructure Experience Azure or AWS.• Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery experience.
Responsibilities:
• Develop new features using Angular 5+ for our flagship Web Platform, from UI design to coding and testing.• Build out the web app with responsive design.• Use modern web standards with HTML5, CSS3.• Hook-up our web front-end with our RESTful backend API• Design and maintain good front-end architecture and deliver high quality code.
Please Note: This position is NOT for Angular JS. We are looking for Angular 5+ skills.
