CareMonitor is building a next-generation Health informatics software platform that improves the quality of health care. The platform is being developed and maintained by some of the most talented software developers across the globe along with our strong product research team in Australia. As part of this, we’re growing the team, and we’re looking for another smart & passionate support engineer to come on board.
The CareMonitor Support Team provides technical support to Enterprise SaaS corporate (Health Professionals) and their customers (Patients).
Key responsibilitiesProvide technical and people leadership as a senior member of the Solution Architecture team.Help lead and define the CareMonitor’s Architecture strategy and ways of working.Develop a fit-for-purpose governance framework for CareMonitor, with relevant context to the broader Group architecture approach.Develop a reference architecture for key systems & capability across CareMonitor.Drive work prioritisation across the team and documentation standards.Develop, model, and provide a strategic point-of-view on the target-state architecture including modelling and communicating transitionary states required to reach the target state.Produce Solution Architectures that meet business requirements, are fit for purpose, align with the company's IT strategic directions and offer value for money.Enable the successful delivery of internally generated solution designs by external service providers.Ensure that the designed business rules are consistent across the organisation, that interfaces and information flows are standardised and connectivity and interoperability are managed across the enterprise and outside it where necessaryTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a technologist who is a strong people leader, and a hands-on, responsive problem solver.Provide direction and advisory capabilities to the development of new digital solutions, as well as supporting the existing solutions through upgrade, continuous improvement and retirementFacilitate the evaluation and selection of software products and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurationsUnderstand competitor, market, technology and industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating modelsAssist in the design and direction of the governance activities associated with ensuring architecture assurance, compliance and alignment with the future-state architecture visionContinuously monitor the current-state solution architecture to identify deficiencies through aging technologies and applications, or through misalignment with business requirements, and recommend corrective actionDocument solution architecture design and analysis work using relevant architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL, etc)About youRelevant Tertiary qualification, essentialExperience in application delivery including design and delivery of component and/or service-based systems/applications, essentialExperience designing and deploying digital experience platforms requiredProactive, solutions-focused attitude with a demonstrated ability to work autonomouslyExperience working in a scale Agile environmentExperience working in a Digital-first landscapeDemonstrated End-to-End Program/Business Architecture experience on large scale IT transformation programsSolid experience with solution design and successful implementation of complex business solutionsExtensive and demonstrated previous experience with solutions architecture, business, and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and legacy technical environment.Proven experience in delivery focus and a broad range of skills in Integration, Applications, and Data is a must-haveSolid experience in the facilitation of groups during planning and design activities, change management activitiesAbility to effectively communicate to the technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organisation.Demonstrated experience guiding and collaborating with multi-disciplinary technical teams covering multiple domains.Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication & influencing skillsSuperior analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including report writing and presentation skillsBackground in Software DevelopmentExperience and knowledge of various architecture methodologies, industry-standard development methodologies, tools, and techniquesAbility to define complex and innovative technical solutions to business problemsProven problem solving techniques with the ability to both conceptualise and analyseExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent time management and organisational skillsExperience of Solution Architecture within modern microservices, cloud based systemsExperience with AWS is a plus.Experience in the healthcare industry or similar, desirable
