FINXFLO – The World’s First Hybrid Liquidity Aggregator is designed to help traders access the best prices with an unparalleled level of transparency and efficiency. We are looking for a passionate analytical, results-driven Backend Developer who will work with team members to develop our current back-end applications and processes. The Backend Developer shall exploit his cumulated experience in Java technologies to contribute to our growing Backend Development team.

In short, what you will be doing 

• Support the backend development of the website initiatives 
• Produce high quality maintainable code, testing and collaboratively review to ensure efficiency 
• Building of reusable components and libraries for future 
• Suggest improvements to the website’s user experience by implementing user interface changes and collaborating with all tech teams to conceptualise and develop new features 

• Implementation of security and data protection 
• Learn about new technologies and stay up to date with current best practices 

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Java8+, Spring Boot, TDD experience 

• Led web product development from inception to Go-LIVE. 
• Additional knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes and Cloud services (AWS), Code versioning tools (Git), OWASP security principles would be advantageous. 
• Ability to integrate with third party APIs 
• Familiar with blockchain concepts and cryptocurrency is a plus 
• Basic understanding of trading concepts (Forex, shares, or cryptocurrencies) 

• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills with the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively 
• Creativity and willingness to work on own initiative and share ideas 
• Excellent communication skills
