QA Engineer

Job Description
As a QA Engineer on this team, you will be doing manual and automation testing and you will be working directly with fellow Test Engineers, Developers, UX Designers and Product Manager to ensure robust quality of our application and platform.
Key Responsibilities

• Understand Project Specifications and translate it into Technical Specifications 
• Design, Implement and Maintain Test Plans, Test Cases Scenarios to ensure quality of code changes 
• Prepare Test Designs based on project requirements and team discussions 
• Use Manual and Automation Testing methodologies to ensure accuracy and stability of our product 
• Testing both frontend UI and backend APIs 
• Performance/load testing 
• Track and report issues found during testing and work closely with developers for their resolution

1. Experience with automation frameworks and strong scripting with JavaScript and JAVA QA Engineer 4
2. Demonstrated experience in leading QA effort on large-scale software projects or deliverables; strong organizational skills. 
3. Experience with using Agile development methodologies. 
4. Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends and proactively solve problems. 
5. Good oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating in a larger group. 
6. Design and build test infrastructure for production service availability/validation testing, staging load testing, reliability testing, and end to end integration testing. 
7. Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Continuous Improvement / Continuous Deployment workflows (CI / CD). 
8. Experience identifying gaps in the requirements or testing processes and able to generate solutions for continuous improvement. 
9. Comfortable working in a dynamic, low-structure, constantly changing atmosphere and prioritizing work appropriately 
10. Solid experience with API automation. Must have actively utilized 4 or more years of API Testing experience. 
11. Good understanding of RESTful design / best practices. Hands on experience testing APIs and test tools (Charles, JMeter, Postman, Advanced Rest Client). 
12. Good understanding of load / stress / performance testing and tools 
13. Knowledge of OWASP
    Top 10 Basic Qualifications
    1. BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
    2. 4+ years of proven experience as QAE, SDET, or SDE.
    3. 4+ years experience with driving quality across an organization.
    4. 4+ years experience with QA methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    5. 4+ yrs in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) related language. QA Engineer
    6. Experience working with product owners and developers to define user stories.
    7. Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, performance testing and test execution.
    8. Scripting and coding knowledge is required.
