Junior Data Engineer

The Opportunity As a Data Engineer on our team you will have the opportunity to shape the future big data landscape at leading Fortune 500 organizations and cutting-edge startups. You will work on customer engagements to solve big data problems using distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark and the partner platform. You will deliver data engineering, and system integrations to enable customers to rapidly migrate data to the cloud and transform their Data for further processing.

● Competencies

●Hands-on technical knowledge & experience in SQL and Apache Spark (Py Spark) preferable 

●Data Engineering and implementation experience in big data technologies (such as Spark and/or Hadoop) – Activities include data ingestion workloads, ETL workloads and data transformation

● Comfortable programming in SQL, Py Spark, Python, R or Scala 

● Knowledge using cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferable

● Excellent communication skills; Experience in customer-facing consulting role preferred

● Passionate about learning new technologies and making customers successful

● Any exposure to data lakes, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging in Spark and/or other big data solutions is preferable In general, for freshers
