Job Description: The CloudOps Engineer will administrate or participate in the administration of Metadata’s cloud infrastructure and handle day-to-day cloud operations tasks. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with other departments (engineering, security, and compliance) to deliver a Cloud Infrastructure that meets their requirements while maintaining industry standards for security and compliance. To effectively collaborate with engineering and security teams, practical knowledge and hands-on experience in development is a value add. 
Responsibilities:

• Deliver Cloud Services and Infrastructure for Metadata Application Platform 
• Monitor and Optimize Cloud Infrastructure for Performance, Cost, and Efficiency 
• Secure Cloud Infrastructure 
• Ensure Availability, Reliability, and Compliance 
• Automate Infrastructure Provisioning and Configuration Management 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT 
• 3 to 5 yrs of relevant industry experience 

• Linux OS 
• Administration of Container and Container Orchestration Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• AWS Cloud Platform (relevant AWS certifications are a value) 
• Infrastructure, Network, and Application Security 
• Observability Platforms 
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

• Python Scripting 
• Shell Scripting 
• Hashicorp Terraform (IaC) 
• Ansible 
• Ability to multitask, coordinate, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
