Job Description - Head of Engineering

Goals:

● Achieve key engineering & operational goals for product development, quality, cost & delivery

● Maximize efficiency, optimize and drive engineering excellence.

● Work closely with the founders, product and data science teams to deliver high quality solutions

● Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Engineering function to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

● Lead, mentor and inspire your team to achieve organizational goals

Responsibilities:

● Oversee and deliver projects for front-end & back-end development teams

● Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements

● Ensure compliance with security regulations

● Prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget

● Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectivesand resources

● Team building & implement innovative technologies

● Design the app stack framework & Build Overall App Stack Architecture keeping in mind thescalability.

Requirements:

● Work experience as an engineering manager or in a similar senior-level position at anengineering department

● Extensive experience with cloud technologies specifically AWS kubernetes, docker, etc.

● Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development

● Good understanding of agile methodologies

● Leadership abilities with a strategic mindset

● Excellent project management skills
