Backend Developer

Responsibilities- Build new features to allow for rapid product experimentation to power web and androidapplications, implementing features in an efficient way.- Deliver within project timelines through diligent planning and attention to detail.- Keep key stakeholders informed about progress and problems; avoid surprises.- Identify and remedy performance bottlenecks wherever feasible.- Follow testing and documentation best practices for the services developed.- Contribute towards enhancements in the development and deployment processes toimprove developer efficiency.Qualifications- 3-6 or more years of backend development experience in Java / Python/ NodeJs /Golang.- Strong problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.- Solid understanding of design patterns and OOP concepts; familiarity with object-oriented JS (asynchronous code, events loop etc) is highly preferable- Solid understanding of relational DBMS concepts with PostgreSQL or MySQL is a must.- A willingness to learn new languages / frameworks as needed; a growth mindset andpassion to build things from the ground up in a fast paced environment
Skills that will give you an edge- Experience working with apps in a microservices architecture.- At least 1 year of experience with Node.js frameworks like Express, Koa, Sail etc.- Familiarity with caching solutions like Redis, Memcached etc.- Familiarity with NoSQL database like MongoDB etc.- Prior experience with any message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS etc- Experience with any of the famous cloud infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
