JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a Lead Python Backend Developer, we expect the candidate to be the key contributor in Web Applications Development, Implementation, Delivery and Maintenance of the Custom Specific Applications and our Products.

Primary work focus for the candidate is as under:

1. To be part of the entire application life cycle, including solution design (Application, DB and Infra, especially cloud based, security, data protection etc.), coding, implementation/deployment and post production maintenance

2. Hands on development of the complex pieces of the back-end logic

3. To be responsible for building reusable code and libraries for future use

4. Guide and direct the team of back-end developers for framework based, reusable and efficient code development,

5. Work closely with the front-end team for overall product/solution efficiency – focus on high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end

6. Key contributor to overall Application's optimization for maximum speed and scalability.

7. Drive continuous integration and improvements.

8. To play the lead role in standardizing/streamlining and optimizing development, delivery and maintenance processes

9. To be one of the key Customer Fronting Executives, with responsibility to manage customer expectations right 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

1. Degree in BE/ BTech with at least 6 to 8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

2. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (frontend, backend, database management and deployment).

3. Hands on experience in Web based (Enterprise or Custom Specific) application development using, primarily, Python based Frameworks (Django, FLASK etc.) – 3 to 4 years.

4. Understanding and experience in use of Python for RPA and Digitization – focusing on integration/implementation of Selenium, Computer vision APIs, NLP etc. through Python

5. Experience in handling a minimum of 3 solution implementations E2E – Right from Scoping/Planning to Delivery & Maintenance

6. Experience in cloud based & on -premise systems implementation

7. Understanding/experience with JS frameworks like Angular, NodeJS

8. Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS).

9. Understanding of hosting environments, including cloud, database administration and scaling an application to support load changes.

10. Experience in implementation of CI/CD – for Windows and Linux based systems
