UI/UX Designer

Position : UI / UX Designer

Job Description

- Determining the structure and design of web pages.

- Design software applications using HTML, Javascript, XML, JSP, CSS among others

- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.

- Will be responsible for UI design, theming, research and suggestion of new UI modules

- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like

- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

- Ensure that the website is optimized for various devices.

- Work with other developers to ensure that the website is functional and visually appealing.

- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

- Continued education and research into UI development trends and current design strategy and technology

- Conceptualise, think and develop creative designs  

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role (for experienced candidate)

- Portfolio of design projects

- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)

- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.

- Understanding of key design principles.

- Experience with responsive and adaptive design

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Good interpersonal skills.
