Front End lead + architect Level/Lead

Job Title:

Front End lead + architect We are looking for a Front End lead + architect, to work as part of the eureQa product development team to lead the design and development of high impact user-centric enterprise-grade features within the eureQa platform. In this role, the candidate will have complete ownership of all UI-aspects of the platform. While the candidate is expected to provide team leadership, this is not a management only position. The person filling this role is expected to be passionate about coding and should spend at least 40-50% of their time coding (implementing proof-of-concepts, developing common reusable code components, refactoring code, etc.,)

Responsibilities:

• Implement the Front End technical design and development of enterprise-class web applications that work seamlessly on desktop and mobile browsers.

• Review business requirements and perform technical analysis of requirements and participate in estimation process 

• Drive architectural discussions for new platform features 

• Deliver detailed technical design and architectural documentation 

• Deliver high quality work product individually and as a team, adhering to industry best practices.

• Create governance with design system and manage the team delivering applications based on that 

• Contribute ideas for making the platform better and easier to use 

• Lead frontend developers n agile squads to deliver Angular applications The Complete Automation Platform for Testing Digital Applications 2

• Mentor and support team members 

• Oversee and work closely with the development teams while constantly reviewing the code and maintaining quality of the design. 

• Continuously evaluate the existing software to identify areas of improvement and ensure architectural integrity as feature enhancements are added.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in front end development and engineering

• Demonstrated ability to build elegant and engaging user interfaces

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript 

• Knowledge of Material Design principles and responsive design 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with individuals across the organization.

• Experience building progressive web applications is a plus

• Experience with Build and Deployment automation (CI/DC) 

• Proven expertise in the following areas: 

• Angular 9, React, jQuery and other JavaScript libraries

• JavaScript, TypeScript

• Object Oriented Java Scripting

• HTML5/CSS3 and other cross-browser responsive applications

• Modern back-end web technologies : JAVA, NodeJS, Python

• Building and using RESTful Web Services

• Component library framework integration (e.g. Angular Material)

• CSS frameworks like Sass, LESS

• Git, bower, grunt, yarn, and Yeoman

• Vector Icons like Font Awesome

• UI Testing & Runner Frameworks (Jasmine, Karma etc.
