Job Requirements
The job requirements for the Unity3D Game and AR App Developer, which involves the development of 3D games
and Augmented Reality (AR) based mobile applications.
The incumbent is expected to design, develop, and maintain a thin-game client using C# .net in the Unity3D Game
Engine, and expected to possess a prior work experience of creating robust games in Unity3D for online publishing
as well as mobile publishing (Android / iOS). We expect them to possess a prior experience of having developed
Augmented Reality (AR) apps using AR SDKs, and expect them to possess a mixture of advanced computer vision
skills, 3D modelling and desktop, web or mobile programming.
We also expect them to be experienced with the Unity3D GUI, Object Oriented Design principles, asset bundles,
and super-clean, testable, and well-documented codes in C#. They will also interact with other teams such as the
game server team, art department, and the web team, and is expected to work in a collaborative environment with
a team of game designers, developers and sound engineers.
Other technical requirements are as following:
I. Strong Unity3D programming skills, and knowledge of object oriented design, design patterns, 3D Math, and
data structures
II. Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework 2.0 or above
III. Prior experience of developing Augmented Reality applications using AR SDKs such as Vuforia
IV. Expert knowledge of Unity3D Pro including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials / Shaders, and iPhone
deployment.
V. Expert knowledge of Graphics Development (Particle Systems, Shaders).
VI. Must have shipped at least three games and AR apps to the App / Play Store
VII. Implement systems for the games based on design specifications. Implement, debug and refine core gameplay
features
VIII. Collaborate effectively with a small, high-energy team of illustrators, designers, and programmers. Work with
other developers to devise customized solutions to difficult problems, and be an integral part of a team focused
on excellence

IX. Experience with both 3D and 2D graphics in Unity. Experience of implementing and/or creating native iOS and
Android plugins for Unity
X. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
4 Desired Qualifications
The incumbent shall possess both or either of the following qualifications:
A. Bachelor’s degree in Game Development, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or any other related field
(essential)
B. Master’s degree in Game Development, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or any other related field
(desirable)
Other than the above, non-degree candidates with strong artistic and creative abilities coupled with a natural flair
for coding, a diploma or training course in web designing and possessing the following skills will be preferred:
• Experience of game development on Unity3D platform, having developed and published at least THREE titles
• Experience of developing AR apps using AR SDKs such as Vuforia
• Experience with OSX, iOS, and/or Mono, as well as an experience of publishing to Android
• Experience with Visual Studio and/or Team Foundation Server
• Design Portfolio
5 Technical Skills Requirements
The incumbent, apart from the above qualifications shall possess the following skills:
a. Unity3D platform knowhow including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials / shaders
b. Experience of working with AR SDKs
c. Advanced C++ and C# knowledge and experience along with .NET Framework 2.0 or above
d. extensive knowledge of 3D computer graphics and modelling, including use of DirectX SDK, OpenGL, shader
programming languages, and optimizing 3D performance in games on both high-end and low-end
e. UI Design and Development knowledge
f. Android app development and publishing
g. Other language proficiency in Java, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
h. Knowledge of technologies like Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator
i. Good sense of observation and creativity
j. Professional experience in creating images, designs, illustrations and animations
k. Strong technical knowledge of wireframe development and web applications
