Frontend Developer

Simply love animals and are passionate about working in a growing startup? Wagr, The Smart Petcare Platform — is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our team.

As a contractor, you will primarily work on developing Frontend applications for Wagr, as well as contributing to the overall development of all software products.

Based in: Anywhere / Preferably Bangalore (We are currently a fully remote team)

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and improve frontend web and mobile applications for supply side partners such as veterinarians and retail brands.
• Contribute to the frontend development of the main website.
• Contribute to the development of our main mobile application.
• Contribute to front end work on any other applications.
• Contribute to backend development on Firebase.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.
• Collaborate with other engineers and designers to translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

Skills required:

• Minimum 2 years experience in web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with responsive user interface design for web and mobile
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Familiarity with Firebase
• Knowledge of test driven development
• Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
