Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements, own and deliver complex components from the planning stage through execution to delivery

• Investigate the edge-cases, explore any problems that arise in-depth, and propose robust solutions

• Work closely with blockchain, UI/UX design, and frontend teams to design, develop and integrate new features

• Participate in system design and architecture discussions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of solid experience in building REST APIs using languages like NodeJS, TypeScript, Java or Golang

• Proficiency in relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis, MongoDB, Google Cloud Firestore etc.) databases

• Experience with Cloud services like AWS and GCP

• Understanding of design patterns and programming concepts, and of security and data protection

• Ability to write effective, documented, scalable code, and to debug and fix it as and when required with minimal guidance

• Strong engineering background of Bachelors or Masters (preferably in Computer Science)

• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly articulate your thoughts

• Experience with microservices design (good to have)

• Experience with blockchain technology (good to have)

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Mocha and JMeter
