Develop backend and frontend products that serve consumer and business facing Fintech mobile apps and websites.

Responsibilities

1. Producing high-quality backend and frontend applications and components for consumer and business facing fintech products.
2. Lead team of backend and frontend engineers, conduct code reviews, and share product management duties
3. Design scalable architecture for payments products
4. Operate in a time-efficient manner as an individual for rapid turnaround of features and fixes.
5. Coordinate directly with other engineers, designers and management.
6. Writing code and design systems that are scalable
7. Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Qualifications:

1. Lots of hands-on experience developing applications from scratch and meaningfully contributing to existing codebase
2. Strong development experience in the following technologies: Python Django, PostgreSQL and Javascript
3. Particularly working with XML, JSON and Web Services, and more importantly Javascript (react.js preferred), Django, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.

Extra points:

1. Graduate from a top-tier STEM institute (IIT/NIT)
2. Experience building Fintech products (particularly in payments) - see note below with target companies
3. Experience working in startups
