Oracle OTM Mobile Developer

BrightOrder is seeking a bright, diligent team player to join our practice for Oracle OTM Mobile Technical developer. Candidates must have a successful track record of OTM experience, be detail oriented, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a deep technical functional knowledge of OTM (specifically on Parcel shipment and order management).

Please note, this is a remote contract position for 3-6 months approximately with the possibility of contract extension or permanent employment.

Job Requirements:

• Very Strong Oracle Transportation Management (OTM ) Knowledge.
• Must have OTM Technical and Functional knowledge.
• Must have experience with Mobile application development
• Must have experience with Oracle Visual Builder.
• Experience with implementing a new feature within OTM
• ADF experience
• Oracle PL/SQL.
• Have knowledge and experience on maintaining and supporting Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
• Have experience working with Oracle Report Builder and Oracle Report Server
• Willing to work in OTM Support
• Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills .
• Must have worked in OTM implementation /Support .
• Must have worked in OTM Fleet Management and 3 PL.
• Good knowledge on Order Management, Shipment Planning Business automation Process and OTM Finance module.
• Good Knowledge of automation agents including Saved Queries/Conditions, Complex expressions.
• Should have an experience in Fleet Management, Shipment & Delivery and SCM (Supply chain management).
• Preferred good knowledge in OTM6.4.3, OTM6.3.1 and OTM6.3.1.
• Strong understanding of OTM Data model and SQL knowledge.
• Good Knowledge on Screen set, manager layout and configuration.
• Able to work independently and achieve results with minimal supervision
• Run agile ceremonies and sprint plans ..
• 6+ years of experience with OTM.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
• Work with Oracle Report Builder and Oracle Report Server
• Maintain and build on OTM user management and password retrieval, OTM functional issues support, user menu, screen set and manager layout creation and modification and OTM business process automation
• Build and modify custom Reports based on Oracle Report Server
• Maintain Life cycle activities to include development and maintenance of technical and user documentation
• Assist the infrastructure team with some systems administration duties
• Participate in Workday implementation activities including discovery, design, configuration, documentation, testing, and project review sessions related to OTM Integrations during current project and additional phases
• Analyze functional issues and develop solutions using the latest technology solutions.
• Provide training, technical support, and documentation of information systems to internal and external teams.
• Timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
• Support and lead business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities; work with the appropriate internal resources from other service lines/industries.
• Write efficient, reliable, and very readable code
• Create customer facing online tools using the latest technologies
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve our processes and applications
• Incorporate software components and third-party programs
• Work closely with other developers, business analysts, product owners
• Embrace evolving industry trends and technologies and learn to adapt new technologies quickly
• Employ proper unit testing and code review

Education

• B. S. Degree or + 5 years of relevant experience
